Anyone have a favorite gun shop they purchase from in the Tampa Bay area. Good experiences good prices?

What kind of 40 cal you looking for? Best bet is to get prices at the stores then go to a gun show and name your prices..

Call Jays' Guns & Accessories in Crestview Fl. They will beat almost any price here in town and the shipping is only $15-
Get the best price you can in town and then Call Jays'(Don't be afraid to price haggle with them)

shoot straight jacks their prices up! i went in and looked at a plain jane sig p220, asking over 900! i found it at a 2 local shops for 630 out the door. and they werent refurbished models. I love shoot straight though for comparing hand guns because they have 1 of everything in the same shop, but they do a high mark up.

I guess it's with wherever you go, if you're willing to spend $500 over I wouldn't blame the shop on taking it.. Lots of people don't want to negotiate prices so they end up getting that high price..

maybe dont know but for my personal opinion they got deals , they was salling me a XDM for $589 and a G22 4 gen for $500. i got my glock 27 for $ 432. you think i got a bad deal?

Wow, they are nice prices... I only saw the XDm as low as $599 OTD at the gun show in Jax...

yes xdm 40 was so mad i couldnt get it because have to pay bills first , but i think you just have to negociate with the guys ..

I can't trust these videos... I ended up renting the XD9sc and the G26 and liked the XD better, I then bought both.. I'll go to the range and use both just so I don't get stuck on 1 gun... I enjoy them both..


4th gen Glocks are not out yet right? I think June/July they'll be out..

yes i know with 1 you talking about is those years of WWII COLT Couldn't keep up with the high demand of 1911s so Remington come out with the 1911.. i getting 1 for my birthday ..sorry for my grammar

The best place I can think of in the north Tampa area is Empire Pawn & Gun. They are located on N. Florida Ave. at 109th Street. That's basically, north of Busch Blvd and south of Fowler Ave.

Craig and his father Ken are super nice folks. Ken has been around the gun business for a long time and will gladly provide great detail for your next purchase. Craig will give you the best deal he can and will let you handle any and all of the firearms they have on display. For a small gun shop, they are the best in town and give a "down-home" feel also. They probably have about 125 firearms available and nearly always have a very good variety of ammunition as well.

New gun shop called Family Guns, it is behind the Goodwill store off SR 60 in Valrico. He had Glocks, $512 otd. It is a new shop so I do not know much of their knowledge but buying just need the cost.

I personaly like A-1 Tactical in Saint Pete just off 19 down 54th Ave. N. some pretty neat things and good prices usally meeting prices seen at the shows..
